MCPD Enterprise Applications (.NET 2.0)

In 2008 I became a Microsoft Certified Professional Developer in Enterprise Applications (.Net 2.0). Topics for this qualification include: Component design and development, evaluating the technical feasibility of an application, logging and monitoring and evaluating application performance. There were several pre-requisites for this qualification which are detailed below:

Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist – Web Applications (.Net 2.0)

This qualification tested my knowledge of C# and ASP.Net. Topics included: ASP.Net state management, ADO.Net for web applications, implementing authentication and authorization and ASP.NET mobile web applications.

Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist – Windows Applications (.Net 2.0)

For this qualification I had to prove my knowledge of the C# programming language to create Windows based applications. Topics included: ADO.Net for Windows applications, XML usage, Asynchronous Programming techniques, Application Domains and MDI Forms. This qualification is for the .Net Framework 2.0.

Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist – Distributed Applications (.Net 2.0)

This qualification shows my skills in Remoting applications using the .Net 2.0 Framework and C#. It also shows my skills in developing web services, using the .Net Framework 2.0 and using Microsoft Web Service Enhancements 3.
